Operating Manager Normal Batches – Stuttgart, Germany
Wassi has been with Flint Group for 30 years starting his apprenticeship in 1986 at K+E Druckfarben / BASF
“I started as an apprentice chemical worker in one of the production departments. Very early I got basic managerial tasks, first as a substitute for a supervisor and in 1990 I became a full-time supervisor myself. Later I had the wish to further educate myself., supported by the company as I was a shiftworker that time, I did evening classes to gain a master craftsman’s diploma.
After a few years in the Normal Batches department, I switched to the Big Batch department in 1995 and after years of gaining experience and knowledge I became a shift supervisor there. My Job is challenging but very exciting as well. Here I have the chance to analyze, optimize and create processes in the production site, which is great. The thing I really enjoy though is friendly atmosphere and the relationship I have with my colleagues.
I’m proud and happy to be a part of this organization for 30 years now! With all its ups and downs.”
